Great news for admins in hospitals or medical facilities! Paessler has developed new sensors for monitoring medical equipment that communicates via the protocols HL7 and DICOM. PRTG can now monitor your medical IT infrastructure even more closely, accurately and timely!

These are some of the new monitoring options now available:

  • Monitor the performance of query/retrieve calls on your PACS.
  • Check whether your equipment can request worklist entries from your DICOM Modality Worklist.
  • Monitor availability of mobile equipment such as C-arms or ultrasound devices, even if they are moved to different examination rooms.
  • Receive alerts when your radiology information system no longer responds.
  • Monitor your radiology workflow by combining the PRTG Business Process Sensor and the new eHealth sensors.

Improve your medical IT infrastructure and save money due to shortened and less frequent downtimes. Generate reports to evaluate your system availability. Give yourself extra time to react, by receiving advance notifications when anomalies occur or certain thresholds are reached. With these sensors you can reliably detect errors or anomalies long before your nurses and physicians call you.
